A Lifetime of European Cars
Founded in 1894 in France by Émile Delahaye, Delahaye became renowned for elegant luxury cars, hand‑crafted coachbuilt bodies, and competitive racing machines. The brand was a major force in French automotive design in the 1930s and 1940s, producing some of the most beautiful pre‑war automobiles ever made. Delahaye merged with Hotchkiss in 1954, ending its independent presence.
